Jez is a Multimedia Designer born and raised in the Philippines and based in Calgary, Alberta. With her industry experience, she focuses on creating beautiful and engaging experiences through interaction and visual design.
My journey into multimedia design began in the culinary arts in the Philippines, where I discovered my passion for creating experiences. This passion led me to move to Canada and study at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), focusing on branding/rebranding, UI/UX design, and video editing. My unique background has given me a distinct perspective on design, combining creativity with technical expertise.
My design process is straightforward, beginning with understanding the client's vision and followed by thorough research and collaboration. I prioritize user-centered design, meticulous attention to detail, and storytelling, ensuring every project is intuitive and impactful. Effective communication and teamwork are at the heart of my approach, making sure each project aligns with client goals and resonates with their audience.
Inspired by nature, technology, and diverse cultural experiences, I continuously explore new techniques and styles through personal projects. My transition from culinary arts to multimedia design has enriched my creative outlook. Looking ahead, I aim to capture experiences and memories through timeless designs, taking on projects that challenge me and leave a lasting impression.
